A Very Merry Unbirthday Part 3

The invitations and the paper cones were a ton of fun to make, but some of the most fun came from tying everything together creating a Wonderland!

The Decor:

We created some brightly colored tissue flowers.  You can learn more about them here.  I think they made for a stunning effect.

The remainder of the decor was a mish-mash of things from Christmas combined with some Tule Pom-Poms, ribbon, cake stands, candle holders, and a dozen pinwheel and butterfly picks from Hobby Lobby.

I decided the day before that we needed place cards!  I raided my stash again and created some cute ones.  These were coupled by a small glass of apple juice decorated and labeled “Drink Me” and a homemade cake truffle labeled “Eat Me.”  It further tied the wonderland theme together and created a great effect for the adult guests.

For instructions on how to make the cake truffles you can visit Bakerella or you can e-mail me at candycoutureohio@gmail.com since cake truffle and cake pop catering is one of my many talents!

I have one more post in this installation – bringing it all together!
