I hope you are having a stellar week. Things are going well in the Johnston house. We definitely are missing Michael, but we have been able to keep ourselve occupied with special events!
Over the last few weeks I have been sharing some ways to be a savvy shopper. Today, I wanted to share some online resources that I use to help with this.
1. Coupon Mom: This is by far the website I use the most. Coupon Mom helps you match your local store ads and your coupons together to maximize your savings. Locally they have Giant Eagle, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Target, and Wal-Mart. This site is easy to use and its founder has even has a few books about how to better save money.
2. Upromise: While it is not a coupon site, you can save money through the website for college or even use the cash option. I do a great deal of my online shopping through the “turbo saver” option including ordering office supplies.
3. Retail Me Not: If you are looking for online coupon codes this is the place to go. Of course there are other places like Coupon Cabin, but I prefer this one.
4. Coupon Clippers: I’m not a huge advocate of purchasing additional coupons, but if you know there is a coupon you will use more than any other and would prefer to spend a little money to save a lot then this is your type of website. Coupons generally become available on Saturdays and getting your order in early on hot items is a key to using this site successfully. I have had success with this company, and I do not advocate anything that I do not use personally.
So that’s it. If you have a website that you use to save money I would love to hear about it! There are tons more that I have used in the past, but these are the ones I use most frequently.
